Gray

This was an idea that popped into my head after reading the poem Gray by Jane Yolen.
The stuff in the air is supposed to be ash, not snow. It's supposed to be something a little apocalyptic.

Here's something wrote that seems quite appropriate:

Even amidst pain and devastation
Hope remains the rebel in the storm
Amongst the dust of annihilation
True beauty shines ever brighter
