Starvation

Not sure if these guys are actually starving but starvation can be a pretty big threat on this planet.
This species is a mix of a grasshopper, human, and beetle anatomy. The color is based off a cheetah and gemsbok.
This is a species I decided to make up because I was tired of every bug-type movie alien being something evil and nasty so I decided to make ones that were bug-like but not nasty human eating things.
These aliens can't fly but they use their wings to help them increase the distance they can travel in one leap, or in the case of going downhill, slow their fall enough they won't injure themselves. The planet is a barren one where these creatures have to travel long distances to find food or water. Though they have a fierce appearance, they are generally peaceful.
